Thomas Melges is headcoach at the Rowingclub Reuss Luzern working as professional rowing coach since more than 15 years. Many of his athletes won medals or titles at national and international championships. Before becoming a professional coach Thomas was working as Sports Scientist at several Universities. His workstyle is based on experience in high performance rowing and in sports education. Thomas was leading the University Rowing Association in Germany, he was coach in a german state departement, he worked as a coach instructior at the German Rowing Association where he was also part of the scientific and educational section. As a former rower in the german national team, Thomas won several medals at world championships, he was world champion with a still existing world best time. If you ask Thomas to his favorite rowing style, he would probably explain to you the benefits of the australian and the suisse standards in rowing technique.

Lubo Kisiov has been involved with rowing since 1975 and has had an impressive career as a rower and as a coach.  He started coaching in Canada in 1990 and has continued to work with top level university, clubs and national teams around the Northern Hemisphere including being Austria, Turkey, Canada, Great Britain, and Switzerland.  He has worked and developed many Olympic rowers and was the Swiss Coach of the Year in 2018.  He has a passion beyond words for the sport of rowing and a true zest for life, no matter where he resides.  Currently Lubo is also expanding the world of Coastal Rowing around Europe the America’s and Asia as well.  It is a great pleasure to have him join us as our European Camp Coordinator.  All rowers will enjoy his professionalism as well as his immense knowledge of making boats go fast!  Welcome to the team!!
